After the 'all clear' we were shuttled back to our RV's. Whenever weather was threatening during that stay, the shuttles came around to bring us to a safe place to stay and even allowed our dogs to come with. We had been at the park in the spring when tornado season was a concern.
Our goup used the club house for a meeting and pot luck dinner due to rain. A club house at the entrance has a pool or, in the off season your park pass gives you access to pools at the casino and nearby hotels. A beautiful litte pond with a pair of swans gave us some lovely, peaceful time to sit and relax. Plenty of shuttles running to the casino if you don't want to take the short walk. The work was almost done when we were leaving. Improvements being made to the park were a bit of a hassle, but because we had a reservation we had no problems. While no one could say we ever 'rough it' in the RV, the ammenities here are great-and the cost is so reasonable. Hook-ups at the park included water, septic and cable TV. LOVE the buffet! We were not as lucky as some at the casino, but had a good time chatting with people there. My husband and I enjoyed walks around the park with our Rat Terrier and had a wonderful meal at the casino. Some of our friends play golf, and had a great time. This was our second visit and I have to say it is a fun place to park your RV.
We stayed at the RV park in September with some friends.
